Cadets of DSUIA Enhance Criminalistics Skills in Binary Classes

At Dnipro State University of Internal Affairs, a cycle of binary classes in the discipline “Criminalistics” for final-year cadets has begun.

Practical classes were organized by the Head of the Department of Criminalistics and Pre-Medical Training, Candidate of Legal Sciences, Associate Professor, Major of Police Hanna Bidniak, together with the Chief Expert of the Donetsk Research Forensic Center Iryna Repeshko.

Cadets of groups KP-331, KP-332, SR-332 worked through issues of criminalistic identification, classification, and diagnostics. The students practiced skills in fingerprinting living persons and unidentified corpses, and also familiarized themselves with the role of automated fingerprint accounting in the activities of law enforcement agencies. Practical exercises contributed to consolidating knowledge and developing professional skills.

Such classes prepare future law enforcement officers for effective performance of official tasks, develop analytical thinking, attention to detail, and the ability to work with modern criminalistic tools, which is the key to successful service in the National Police of Ukraine.
