At DSUIA, Events Were Held for Ukraine’s Independence Day

Participation in the events was taken by the Rector of Dnipro State University of Internal Affairs, Colonel of Police Oleksandr Morhunov.

The celebration of the 34th anniversary of Independence began with the performance of the National Anthem of Ukraine. The memory of all heroes who fell for freedom was honored with a minute of silence.

The Rector of Dnipro State University of Internal Affairs, Colonel of Police Oleksandr Morhunov, addressed all those present with congratulations on Ukraine’s Independence Day. The head of the institution emphasized the valor and heroism of the defenders who daily uphold the freedom of our state, wished for victory and peace, stressing that independence is a great responsibility of the state and each individual before the world.

Employees of the university, as well as the Dnipro Lyceum of Security Orientation and National-Patriotic Education named after Oleksandr Hostishchev, received departmental incentive awards. A number of employees were announced gratitude from the Head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional State Administration – the head of the regional military administration, the Dnipro City Mayor, the Rector of DSUIA, and were also presented with certificates.

In addition, according to the order of the rector, cadets of DSUIA were awarded the next special ranks of police corporal. A number of students and university employees will be honored by being listed on the Honor Board of Dnipro State University of Internal Affairs.

The event concluded with a musical greeting from the university orchestra and participants of the eSTeD creative movement studio.
