The skills check was organized by the Department of Firearms Training of Dnipro State University of Internal Affairs.
Skills in handling firearms are among the key ones for police officers. Law enforcement officers may use firearms to repel an attack, detain dangerous criminals, to protect citizens from threats to life or health, and so on. Such skills ensure efficiency and safety during the performance of official duties.
First-year students practiced shooting with Glock pistols under the guidance of experienced instructors. After completion, the participants, together with the instructors, analyzed the results, outlining strengths and aspects requiring improvement, and also identified the best shooters.
Shootings contributed to the development of accuracy, discipline, and responsibility, preparing cadets for future service in the National Police of Ukraine.
