Prevention of Emotional Burnout: Classes for Students of the “Police Academy”

NEWS

By the Department of Psychological Support of Dnipro State University of Internal Affairs, classes were conducted for students of the Center for Primary Professional Training “Police Academy,” aimed at improving psycho-emotional state and preventing emotional burnout.

The program of the classes included various techniques and exercises that helped reduce the level of emotional tension, process psychological stress factors, activate internal resources and willpower, and also master imaginative self-help methods based on the use of imagination. The classes were conducted by the psychologist of the department, Vladyslav Bidniak.

Special attention was paid to working with emotional states through artistic means of self-expression that affect perception. An important part was autogenic training and audio-relaxation support. Participants shared psychological difficulties they face daily and, together with the psychologist, sought ways to overcome them.

Specialists of the Department of Psychological Support of DSUIA emphasize that modern psychological methods are an integral part of support, especially under martial law conditions. Such classes effectively contribute to maintaining psycho-emotional health and a high level of motivation of police officers.
