Binary Training for Police Officers of the Educational Safety Sector: Legal Aspects of Working with Minors

The event was organized by the Associate Professor of the Department of Administrative Law and Procedure of DSUIA, Senior Lieutenant of Police Karina Pisotska.

To participate in the event, representatives of the Patrol Police Department in Dnipropetrovsk Region of the Patrol Police Department were invited: Senior Inspector for Special Assignments of the “Educational Safety Service” Department, Captain of Police Vladyslav Shumydub, and Inspector of the same department, Lieutenant of Police Volodymyr Starchenko.

Within the framework of the training, key aspects of the legal regulation of the activities of NPU police units in ensuring a safe educational environment in general secondary education institutions were considered. Special attention was paid to the procedure for holding minors administratively liable.

The speakers emphasized the importance of adhering to the principles of legality and an individual approach to each case, and also presented algorithms for interaction between police officers, school administrations, and other bodies in the field of child rights protection.

The training took place in an interactive format, which allowed participants to discuss practical cases, exchange experiences, and receive answers to relevant questions. The event contributed to the enhancement of the professional competence of police officers.
