Before the start, the students met with the director of the lyceum, a participant in the defense of Donetsk Airport, Kyrylo Nedria.
The film, which has become a part of modern Ukrainian culture, tells about the heroism and indomitable spirit of the defenders of Donetsk Airport in 2014. Kyrylo Nedria, who acted as a consultant for the film and a prototype for one of the main characters, shared with the lyceum students personal memories of those events and revealed details of the film’s creation.
The viewing of the film and live communication with a real cyborg contributed to a deeper understanding of the feat of Ukraine’s defenders, strengthening the patriotic spirit, and realizing the importance of unity and courage.
