At Dnipropetrovsk State University of Internal Affairs, events were held to mark the Day of Remembrance of the Defenders of Ukraine who gave their lives in the struggle for the independence, sovereignty, and territorial integrity of Ukraine.

The rector of the University, Police Colonel Oleksandr Morhunov, took part in the commemoration.

Cadets and officers of the University, veterans, and students of the Dnipro Lyceum of Security and National-Patriotic Education named after O. Hostishchev visited the Krasnopilske Cemetery, where they laid flowers at the Memorial in honor of the fallen defenders of Ukraine who died in the struggle for independence, sovereignty, and territorial integrity.

The participants also laid flowers at the grave of Oleksandr Hostishchev, paying tribute to the Hero whose name the Lyceum bears.
