Within the framework of psychological support for first-year cadets, specialists of the Department of Psychological Support organized a series of team-building activities. Their goal was to form cohesion in groups, develop interaction skills, identify leadership qualities, and practice joint ways of overcoming difficulties.
Psychologists Anzhelika Moroz and Daria Artemenko conducted a session aimed at developing trust, communication, and mutual help in the team. Future cadets participated in a team game that allowed them to establish effective collaboration, learn to overcome obstacles, and solve problems in a collective. Such work also contributed to identifying cadets with pronounced leadership and organizational abilities, and thanks to elements of “brainstorming,” participants were able to analyze their own actions and draw conclusions.
The session conducted by psychologists Vladyslav Bidnyak and Alina Horodnychenko was focused on deepening mutual understanding among cadets. In addition, participants received information about the possibilities of psychological support during the educational process. An important result was also the clarification of the personal perceptions of the students about collective relationships.
The Head of the Department of Psychological Support, Serhii Vyshnevskyi, emphasized that the practice of conducting team-building activities within the framework of the training camp has already become a university tradition. It allows for the formation of effective communication, trust, and collaboration skills in future law enforcement officers, necessary for performing official tasks in stressful conditions and ensuring public safety.
