Students of the CPPT “Police Academy” of DSUIA participated in events on the occasion of the Day of Remembrance of Ukraine’s Defenders who died in the struggle for independence, sovereignty, and territorial integrity of Ukraine.
Future police officers attended an event dedicated to the anniversary of the Ilovaisk tragedy. Those present laid flowers at the memorial on the Alley of Memory of the Heroes of the Heavenly Hundred and fallen ATO warriors, honoring the memory of the fighters who gave their lives defending the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine with a minute of silence.
Also, the students of the “Police Academy” watched a detailed presentation that reproduced the chronology of events of August 2014. They gained a deeper understanding of the causes and consequences of the “Ilovaisk cauldron,” learned about the courage of Ukrainian servicemen and volunteer battalions that found themselves surrounded by Russian troops.
