At Dnipro State University of Internal Affairs, a new course titled “Algorithm of Actions of Patrol Police Officers in Various Situations of Service Activity” has been launched.
The training is organized for patrol police officers from Dnipropetrovsk, Zaporizhzhia, Poltava, and Donetsk regions who are undergoing long-term professional development. The classes are conducted by Senior Lecturer of the Department of Administrative Law and Procedure, Mykola Repan, and Police Lieutenant Colonel Yevhen Bardin from the Department of Tactical and Special Training.
The first session was dedicated to the algorithm of actions for patrol officers in protecting children’s rights and preventing juvenile crime.
The session was joined by Deputy Head of the Juvenile Prevention Sector of Dnipro District Police Department No. 2 of the Main Directorate of the National Police in Dnipropetrovsk Region, Police Captain Oleksandr Horbulin; Senior Inspector of the Domestic Violence Prevention Sector of the same department, Police Captain Dmytro Shtenyк; and Head of the Psychological Support Department of DSUIA, Serhii Vyshnevskyi.

Police officers developed skills in effective communication with minors in various situations, learned how to stop unlawful actions, resolve conflicts, establish psychological contact, and prepare procedural documents.
Such training allows officers to improve their professional level, work out action algorithms for specific situations, and acquire knowledge to ensure the safety of both themselves and others.
