Stop Bullying: Binary Session at DSUIA

Within the framework of advanced training for employees of the educational safety sector, a session on the topic “Prevention and Counteraction of Bullying in Educational Institutions under Martial Law Conditions” was held at Dnipro State University of Internal Affairs.

The purpose of the event was to improve the professional knowledge and skills of police officers who carry out preventive activities in the school environment. The speaker of the event was the inspector of the “Educational Safety Service” Department of the Kamianske District Police Department, Senior Police Lieutenant Marianna Dubyna.

The specialist, together with the participants, discussed the key components of a safe educational environment, in particular psychological and social factors that contribute to the emergence of bullying among student youth, especially under martial law conditions, when the level of stress and social tension increases.

Particular attention was focused on the legal aspects of responding to bullying cases, the algorithm of actions of specially authorized entities: the administration of the institution, teachers, parents, and police officers.

Participants familiarized themselves with the specifics of drafting relevant procedural documents and mechanisms of interagency interaction. The event took place in the format of a professional dialogue, which allowed participants to exchange experiences, review practical cases, and form a shared vision of an effective model for counteracting bullying in modern conditions.
