Practical Skills: Elective Classes in Tactical and Special Training at DSUIA

NEWS

The Department of Tactical and Special Training of Dnipro State University of Internal Affairs organized an elective class for cadets, conducted by the department’s lecturer and military veteran, Illia Norkin.

According to Illia Norkin, tactical training is not only about techniques or equipment but, above all, about teamwork, trust, and psychological resilience. Future police officers must learn to act confidently and cohesively under any circumstances.

During the class, cadets familiarized themselves with the basic equipment of a serviceman, practiced tactical interaction exercises, and mastered skills of formation movement and the “clockwise principle.”

Such training develops discipline, endurance, and self-confidence, which form the foundation of an officer’s professional growth.
