NEWS

Police officers from Dnipropetrovsk, Donetsk, Kirovohrad, Poltava, Kharkiv, and Zaporizhzhia regions completed their specialization at the Dnipro State University of Internal Affairs.

The participants studied the basics of administrative and criminal procedural legislation, as well as issues of preventing and combating domestic violence. Special attention was given to the age-specific characteristics of children, the psychological aspects of working with them, and building cooperation with institutions that protect children’s rights.

The officers also became familiar with action algorithms for detecting explosive devices — a key element of their tactical training.

Upon completion of the course, the law enforcement officers successfully passed a comprehensive exam.

Vice-Rector of DSUIA, Police Colonel Ihor Kovalov, congratulated the participants, wished them fruitful service, invited them to pursue additional higher education at the university, and presented them with the relevant certificates.

Head of the Educational Security Service in Dnipropetrovsk region, Police Lieutenant Colonel Olena Tkachova, emphasized the importance of responsibility in service and sensitivity toward children, their parents, and teachers.
