Cadets of Dnipro State University of Internal Affairs visited the “Leroy” shelter, where dogs evacuated from the occupied territories are temporarily housed.
During the visit, the cadets assisted in installing enclosures, cleaned the shelter’s territory, and unloaded food for feeding the dogs. Afterwards, they spent time with the animals: walking them, providing care, and giving love and attention.
Representatives of “Leroy” thanked the cadets for their sensitivity and compassion, emphasizing that youth involvement in such initiatives plays a crucial role in fostering a culture of humanity in society. For the dogs that survived the war and the stress of evacuation, human care and support become an important step toward recovery.
