Before the start of the professional development program, the Vice-Rector of Dnipro State University of Internal Affairs, Police Colonel Ihor Kovalov, met with the law enforcement officers.
Thirty inquiry officers and investigators from Dnipropetrovsk, Donetsk, Zaporizhzhia, and Luhansk regions, specializing in investigating criminal offenses involving children, will undergo short-term professional development.
The program covers key problematic issues of criminal procedural legislation, regulatory acts in the field of combating domestic violence, as well as current aspects of preventing and countering crimes committed against children.
Vice-Rector of DSUIA, Police Colonel Ihor Kovalov, emphasized that it is the investigators and inquiry officers who play a decisive role in establishing the truth in each case, especially when it comes to protecting children’s rights. He urged participants to approach their training responsibly and drew attention to the importance of complying with safety requirements during classes.
