The lecture was organized by representatives of the European Union Advisory Mission together with lecturers of the Dnipro State University of Internal Affairs.
The event was attended by participants of the short-term advanced training program – inquiry officers and investigators authorized to investigate criminal offenses involving children from the Main Departments of the National Police in Dnipropetrovsk, Donetsk, Zaporizhzhia and Luhansk regions.
Special attention was focused on practical methods of information protection and the basics of cybersecurity of devices and online accounts. Separately, issues of phishing using artificial intelligence were highlighted.
Specialist in information technologies of the European Union Advisory Mission Dmytro Yehorov and senior lecturer of the Department of Information Technologies Serhii Prokopov revealed in detail both theoretical and practical aspects of the topic, as well as provided advice on avoiding common mistakes when working with IT devices and the information processed on them.
With the help of QR codes, the participants gained access to useful resources and specialized software, which made it possible for them to perform practical exercises in cybersecurity. Some elements of the training caused lively discussions and promoted the exchange of professional experience.
