Third-year cadets from the Faculty of Training Specialists for Pre-Trial Investigation Bodies of the National Police of Ukraine (NPU) at Dnipro State University of Internal Affairs (DSUIA) joined a noble initiative by becoming plasma donors.
The procedure took place at the donor center “Biopharma Plasma Dnipro,” a long-standing partner of the university in such initiatives.
Donor blood and its components remain a critical resource for saving lives, especially amid russia’s full-scale invasion. Blood and its products are used for wounded military personnel and civilians.
The cadets stated that they consider donating blood their duty as future law enforcement officers called to help people. For many, it was their first experience, but all agreed: the feeling that your blood can save someone’s life is priceless.
Such initiatives at DSUIA foster social responsibility and patriotism among youth, strengthening their commitment to serving society.
