Twenty-nine trainees from the Department of Professional Development and Specialization at the Institute of Postgraduate Education and Distance Learning of Dnipro State University of Internal Affairs (DSUIA) successfully completed their training and received certificates.
The group included representatives from patrol police units of Dnipropetrovsk, Donetsk, Poltava, and Zaporizhzhia regions. Over two weeks, they studied the specifics of serving at checkpoints, patrolling, fundamentals of explosives handling, and protocols for providing pre-medical assistance. Significant emphasis was placed on firearms training, tactical skills, psychological preparation, and ensuring public safety under martial law conditions.
At the end of the course, the law enforcement officers passed a comprehensive final exam that included theoretical questions and practical tasks.
Acting Rector of DSUIA, Ihor Mahdalyna, congratulated the graduates on completing their training. He emphasized that patrol police officers must demonstrate a high level of professional expertise and respond swiftly to any challenges, ensuring public order and citizen safety.
Upon completion of the training, the police officers received their certificates.
