At Dnipro State University of Internal Affairs, a judo training session took place with the participation of university cadets, students of the Dnipro Security-Oriented and National-Patriotic Education Lyceum named after Oleksandr Hostishchev, as well as military veterans.

The session aimed to encourage participants to engage in sports, develop professional skills, physical strength, endurance, and coordination. Special attention was paid to the basic elements of judo, particularly the correct execution of techniques and safety. During the training, participants practiced warm-up exercises, judo rules, key techniques, and self-defense methods that help prevent injuries.

Additionally, the training incorporated elements of adaptive judo for military veterans. These are techniques adapted for people with disabilities, designed to improve physical fitness, coordination, and self-confidence, while also supporting psychological rehabilitation. Such sessions are conducted with consideration of the veterans’ individual abilities and needs.
