At Dnipro State University of Internal Affairs, training has started for 30 police officers who, upon completion of the course, will work in educational institutions.
Experienced academic and teaching staff from the university’s departments are involved in the training. During the briefing, the Vice-Rector of DSUIA, Police Colonel Ihor Kovalov, met with the trainees, emphasizing the importance of high-quality training for Educational Safety Service officers, as their work is directly related to protecting children and ensuring their safety.
The first session was conducted by the Head of the Educational Safety Service Unit of the Patrol Police Department in Dnipropetrovsk Region, Police Captain Denys Shulha.
Over the course of 24 days, police officers from Dnipropetrovsk, Volyn, Lviv, Mykolaiv, Odesa, Khmelnytskyi, Cherkasy, Poltava, Chernihiv, Zakarpattia, and Ivano-Frankivsk regions will study theoretical material and perform practical tasks. Active Educational Safety Service officers, psychologists, and specialists from the education department will be involved in the sessions.
