Team spirit: psychological trainings for first-year students of DSUIA

NEWS

A series of trainings on fostering team spirit was organized by the Psychological Support Department.

The events were attended by first-year cadets of the Faculty of Training Specialists for Criminal Police Units of DSUIA. The sessions were aimed at realizing that team spirit is a skill that needs to be developed.

The trainings were conducted by psychologists Anzhelika Moroz and Daria Artemenko. During the sessions, various interactive exercises were used, which allowed cadets to experience firsthand how team interaction works.

Particular attention was paid to creative work. Cadets created a platoon emblem, embedding their own values, aspirations, and shared ideas into it. This exercise helped reveal creativity and demonstrated the process of forming team identity.

In addition, each had the opportunity to mold their emotional state from air dough. According to the psychologists, this became an effective tool for self-discovery, which allowed cadets to convey their inner experiences without words.

During the trainings, cadets actively participated in the work: shared thoughts, analyzed mistakes, and proposed ways to improve the formation of team spirit.
