New horizons of cooperation: DSUIA veterans visited the Superhumans Dnipro center

Veterans who work at DSUIA and engage in sports at the higher education institution visited the Superhumans Dnipro center with an introductory visit, presenting the opportunities of the university and the Barrier-Free Driving School.

Representatives of Dnipro State University of Internal Affairs, in particular veterans, made an introductory visit to the Superhumans Dnipro center. The event was attended by DSUIA Vice-Rector, Police Colonel Ihor Kovalov, who emphasized the importance of cooperation for the support and rehabilitation of persons with disabilities.

During the visit, representatives of Superhumans Dnipro were introduced to the university’s activities, in particular its sports opportunities and the DSUIA Barrier-Free Driving School. Ihor Kovalov noted that the driving school provides persons with disabilities the opportunity to undergo training and retraining to acquire vehicle driving skills, which contributes to their social adaptation and improvement of quality of life.

This visit became an important step toward deepening the partnership aimed at social integration, support for veterans, and the creation of a barrier-free environment for all.

Superhumans is a modern national war trauma center that, since 2022, has been providing free assistance to military personnel and civilians. Main areas of activity: prosthetics, reconstructive surgery, rehabilitation, psychological support.
