Students of the Institute of Law and Innovative Education of Dnipro State University of Internal Affairs familiarized themselves with police activities.
A lecture session in online format on the discipline “Measures of Administrative Coercion in the Activities of the National Police” was held at DSUIA for students of the first (bachelor’s) level of higher education of the Institute of Law and Innovative Education.
The event was organized by the Head of the Department of Administrative-Legal Disciplines and Public Administration, Iryna Dziuba, who invited Inspector of the “Educational Safety Service” Department of the Kamianske District Police Department, Police Lieutenant Yevhen Nahirnyi, to participate.
Students familiarized themselves with the main provisions of the Law of Ukraine “On the National Police,” principles, standards, and functions of police activities, as well as the procedure for passing the competitive selection to the National Police of Ukraine.
Attention was focused on the key principles of law enforcement officers’ work: justice, integrity, professionalism, responsibility, humanism, respect for human dignity, as well as courage and bravery in complex and dangerous situations.
The practical participation of Yevhen Nahirnyi allowed students to gain a deeper understanding of the specifics of police work, connect theoretical knowledge with real tasks of law enforcement officers, and form an understanding of professional standards.
