The event with the involvement of a practicing professional was organized by the Department of Criminal Procedure of Dnipro State University of Internal Affairs.
The event was attended by 3rd-year cadets of the Faculty of Training Specialists for Pre-Trial Investigation Bodies of the National Police of Ukraine.
Under the guidance of Judge of the Industrial District Court of the city of Dnipro Liudmyla Sliusar and Professor of the Department of Criminal Procedure, Police Major Viktoriia Rohalska, future investigators, within the study of the discipline “Criminal Procedure,” modeled court hearings on the consideration of motions for the application of measures to ensure criminal proceedings at the university’s training ground “Courtroom.”
Cadets thoroughly examined the grounds, procedural order, and specifics of applying one of the most common measures to ensure criminal proceedings – temporary access to items and documents – under martial law conditions.
The practical part of the training contributed to the formation of professional skills and deepening the understanding of the procedural aspects of investigators’ work.
