The event for students of the Institute of Law and Innovative Education of Dnipro State University of Internal Affairs was held at the Dnipropetrovsk District Administrative Court.
Head of the Department of State and Law Theory of the Institute of Law and Innovative Education of DSUIA Olha Kulinich and Senior Lecturer Valentyna Chernobuk, within the framework of a lecture session, organized a visit to the Dnipropetrovsk District Administrative Court for second-year higher education students enrolled in the educational-professional program 262 “Law Enforcement Activity.”
Topic of the session: “Role of administrative justice in protecting the rights, freedoms, and legitimate interests of a person and citizen: judicial practice.”
Students familiarized themselves with the structure and organization of the court’s work, the specifics of the judicial process, and the procedure for handling administrative cases. Judge Svitlana Nikolaiychuk told the students about the practical aspects of the court’s activities, introduced them to the work of judges and court staff, which allowed future specialists to directly observe the process and consolidate theoretical knowledge obtained during lectures.
The result of the session was the formation in students of practical skills in analyzing judicial decisions, understanding the principles of openness and accessibility of justice, as well as awareness of the role of administrative justice in protecting the rights, freedoms, and legitimate interests of a person and citizen.
