As part of a curator’s hour dedicated to the Day of Defenders of Ukraine, students of the Police Academy at DSUIA visited the museum and learned about the heroic deeds of Ukrainian defenders.
On the eve of the Day of Defenders of Ukraine, students of the Primary Professional Training Center Police Academy, together with their curator, Police Major Vira Shykuta, visited the Museum of the Ongoing Russian-Ukrainian War.
The participants became acquainted with unique exhibits that recreate the chronology of the Russian-Ukrainian war, the heroism of servicemen and volunteers. The museum’s exhibits — ranging from soldiers’ personal belongings to fragments of military equipment and documentary photographs — allowed for a deeper understanding of the scale of Ukraine’s struggle for independence.
The meeting at the museum became an important element of patriotic education, fostering in the students respect for defenders, an understanding of the role of law enforcement officers in ensuring security, and readiness to serve under challenging conditions.
