Veterans of DSUIA visited the “Zelenyi Hai” farm: therapy through nature

NEWS

Military veterans of DSUIA, together with representatives of the Superhumans Dnipro Center, participated in rehabilitation activities.

The visit was carried out within the framework of implementing the Memorandum of Cooperation between Dnipro State University of Internal Affairs and the Charitable Organization CHARITABLE FOUNDATION “SUPERHUMANS” with the aim of supporting the physical and psychological recovery of Ukraine’s defenders.

Participants learned about the history of the farm, got acquainted with elements of hippotherapy and animal therapy, communicating with animals living on the farm (most of these animals were evacuated from the combat zone and frontline territories).

Interaction with animals contributed to stress reduction, restoration of emotional balance, and the formation of positive social connections.

In addition, veterans participated in a tasting of craft cheeses. This activity not only introduced participants to the traditions of cheesemaking but also created an atmosphere of relaxed communication and experience exchange.

DSUIA continues to support veterans: rehabilitation activities contribute to social adaptation, psychological recovery, and integration into civilian life, help strengthen the sense of community, restore trust in the environment, and motivate active participation in societal initiatives.
