The competition was attended by 1st-year cadets of Dnipro State University of Internal Affairs and students of the Dnipro Lyceum of the Ministry of Internal Affairs named after Oleksandr Hostishchev.
The event was organized by the Department of Special Physical Training of DSUIA with the aim of promoting physical culture and sports among higher education students of the university, improving sports mastery, developing physical hardening, and engaging youth in regular sports activities.
After the performance of the National Anthem of Ukraine and honoring the memory of the fallen with a minute of silence, Vice-Rector of DSUIA, Police Colonel Ihor Kovalov, addressed the audience. He emphasized that sports is an important factor in forming a resilient character for the future police officer and the foundation of his professional growth.
n the championship, teams of first-year students of the Faculty of Training Specialists for Criminal Police Units of the NPU and students of the Dnipro Lyceum of Security Orientation and National-Patriotic Education of the Ministry of Internal Affairs named after Oleksandr Hostishchev competed.
Participants covered distances of 100, 1000, and 3000 meters.
