The event was organized by the Department of Criminal Procedure for 3rd-year cadets of the Faculty of Training Specialists for Pre-Trial Investigation Bodies of the National Police of Ukraine at DSUIA.
The training session on the discipline “Criminal Procedure” was conducted by an expert of the law enforcement component of the European Union Advisory Mission in Ukraine (EUAM) Viktor Novozhylov and Professor of the Department of Criminal Procedure at DSUIA, Police Major Viktoriia Rohalska. The topic of the meeting: “Measures to Ensure Criminal Proceedings.”
Cadets learned about national and international experience in applying preventive measures, examined the purpose of measures to ensure criminal proceedings through the prism of achieving the objectives of the criminal process, and received answers from the expert to questions that interested future investigators.
Such sessions contribute to the formation of professional competencies of future investigators, enhancing their level of practical training and understanding of international standards in law enforcement activities. They allow cadets to combine theoretical knowledge with practical experience, preparing them for effective work in pre-trial investigation bodies and strengthening public order in Ukraine.
