Military veteran Dmytro Burhala, who trains at the DSUIA base, won first places in three disciplines at the competition in Chernihiv.
The all-Ukrainian competition for veterans “Northern Outpost” took place in the city of Chernihiv, where military veteran Dmytro Burhala, who trains at the base of Dnipro State University of Internal Affairs, performed brilliantly. The event gathered participants from various regions of Ukraine, demonstrating strength, endurance, and the unbreakable spirit of defenders.
Dmytro Burhala won first places in three disciplines: rowing on a simulator (333 meters in one minute), kettlebell snatch (34 times), and air bike (20 kcal in 30 seconds).
The competition is an important element of veterans’ rehabilitation, as it contributes to social adaptation, physical recovery, and psychological resilience. Dmytro’s participation in the “Northern Outpost” underscores the role of DSUIA in supporting veterans, creating conditions for their sports development, and integration into societal life.
Congratulations to the athlete!
