NEWS

The events were held by the Psychological Support Department of Dnipro State University of Internal Affairs to prevent bullying and foster a positive socio-psychological climate in collectives.

Participation in the training was taken by first-year students of the Faculty of Training Specialists for Criminal Police Units of the NPU, as well as the Educational-Scientific Institute of Law and Innovative Education.

Participants learned about the psychological causes, consequences, and signs of bullying in a collective, and also received practical recommendations on timely recognition and prevention of this phenomenon.

Additionally, participants were presented with key points of the “Regulation on Preventing and Countering Bullying (Harassment) at Dnipro State University of Internal Affairs.” The composition, rights, duties, and working procedure of the commission for reviewing bullying cases were also explained.

Psychologist Vladyslav Bidniak noted the active interest of cadets and students, who asked important questions regarding various aspects of the topic. Participants held a fruitful discussion about recognizing manifestations of bullying and countering bullying in situations of violating personal boundaries during communication.

Such events contribute to forming a steadfast negative attitude toward any manifestations of bullying among future law enforcement officers, and also foster a culture of respect and responsibility in collectives.
