Students of the Dnipro Lyceum of the Ministry of Internal Affairs named after O. Hostishchev Took the Oath as Lyceum Students

At the Dnipro Lyceum of Security Orientation and National-Patriotic Education of the Ministry of Internal Affairs named after Oleksandr Hostishchev, a ceremonial event was held to induct students as lyceum members.

The ceremony began with the performance of the State Anthem of Ukraine. After that, all present honored the memory of fallen Heroes with a moment of silence.

The host read out greetings from the Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine, First Rank Police General Ihor Klymenko.

The lyceum students were congratulated by Oleksandr Fatsevych, Deputy Head of the National Police of Ukraine and Head of the Patrol Police, Third Rank Police General; Yurii Yandulskyi, First Deputy Head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional State Administration and Head of the Regional Military Administration; Yurii Merdenov, Deputy Head of the Main Department of the National Police in Dnipropetrovsk Region, Police Colonel; Vadym Kulyk, Deputy Head of the Central Territorial Administration of the National Guard of Ukraine, Colonel; Serhii Korinnyi, Deputy Head of the Main Department of the State Emergency Service in Dnipropetrovsk Region, Colonel of Civil Protection Service; Serhii Lozynskyi, Head of the 3rd Border Detachment of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine, Colonel; Oleksii Havel, Deputy Head of the Eastern Regional Directorate and Head of the Operational-Military Directorate based in Kramatorsk, Brigadier General; and Bohdan Ilchenko, Leading Specialist of the Department for the Implementation of Veteran Policy of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration.

Guests also presented gifts to the lyceum.

Additionally, the director of the lyceum, Kyrylo Nedria, and Iryna Shcherbyna — the sister of Oleksandr Hostishchev, after whom the institution is named — addressed the students.

The students solemnly proclaimed the Lyceum Oath, promising to be worthy citizens of Ukraine, to love their native language and land, and to uphold its honor.

Senior lyceum students prepared a musical performance to greet the newcomers.

The induction ceremony became an important step in fostering youth in the spirit of patriotism, discipline, and responsibility.
