The Department of Criminal Procedure of DSUIA continues the practice of holding elective classes for cadets on the topic “Current issues of criminal procedure and crime prevention under martial law.”
Professor of the Department of Criminal Procedure, Police Major Viktoriia Rohalska, conducted an additional class for third-year cadets of the Faculty for Training Specialists for Pre-Trial Investigation Bodies of the National Police of Ukraine within the course “Criminal Procedure,” on the topic “Measures to ensure criminal proceedings.”
During the class, the algorithm of detaining a person suspected of committing a crime without the authorization of an investigating judge was simulated, and the procedure of police officers’ actions was practiced, taking into account the observance of the rights of the detainee.
Cadets who acted as investigators learned how to draw up detention protocols, reinforcing their skills in drafting procedural documents. The event contributed to the development of professional competencies of future investigators and demonstrated a high level of cadet training.
