The event was held on the occasion of Lawyer’s Day and Defenders of Ukraine Day. Future lawyers competed in knowledge of history and law, demonstrating creativity and awareness.
At the Dnipro State University of Internal Affairs, the final stage of the career guidance event “Become a Lawyer: The History of Ukraine Through the Prism of Law” was held, organized by the Department of Theory of State and Law of the Educational and Scientific Institute of Law and Innovative Education.
With a welcoming speech, the Director of the Educational and Scientific Institute of Law and Innovative Education Volodymyr Shablystyi addressed the participants.
The contest, which started on September 29, 2025, brought together students of secondary education institutions interested in the legal profession. The competition consisted of three stages: online testing in history and law, solving practical legal situations, and the final creative stage held at the university.
During the final, participants demonstrated their analytical, creative, and communication skills, showing the interconnection between historical events and legal processes in Ukraine
Students of the 11th grade from seven educational institutions took part in the contest, including: the Municipal Educational Institution “City Legal Lyceum of Scientific Orientation under the University of Customs and Finance” of the Dnipro City Council, the Prymiskyi Lyceum of the Pokrovska Village Council, the Zaporizhzhia Academic Lyceum No. 15, and others.
The winners of the final stage received certificates in various nominations: “History Through Law,” “Symbol of the Future Lawyer,” “Power of Argument,” “Legal Drive,” “Team Spirit,” and others.
The participants also got acquainted with the material and technical base of DSUIA, which is actively used in the educational process.
The event concluded with a creative performance by university representatives and an invitation for the contest participants to join the student and cadet community, choosing DSUIA as their future alma mater.
