NEWS

At Dnipro State University of Internal Affairs, cadets met with Pavlo Ostrohliadov, a veteran of the Russian-Ukrainian war.

The event was organized for second-year cadets of the Faculty for Training Specialists for Pre-Trial Investigation Units of the National Police of Ukraine. Pavlo Volodymyrovych shared his personal service experience, outlined the main challenges faced by Ukrainian defenders, and emphasized the importance of serving the state.

The veteran spoke about his 22-year professional career in the Criminal Investigation Department of the National Police of Ukraine, as well as his participation in combat operations. On February 26, 2022 — the second day of the full-scale invasion — he was mobilized into the National Guard of Ukraine, where he served in the Zaporizhzhia direction as a platoon senior sergeant. He was discharged from service due to injury.

Pavlo Ostrohliadov’s stories became a vivid example of the courage, resilience, and patriotism of Ukrainian defenders. The meeting inspired cadets to study diligently, maintain discipline, and remain devoted to their professional duty.
