Cadets of Dnipro State University of Internal Affairs attended the premiere screening of the Ukrainian documentary film “2000 Meters to Andriivka,” directed by Mstyslav Chernov.

The film follows a platoon of soldiers from the 3rd Separate Assault Brigade as they move through a mined forest to liberate the village of Andriivka. The settlement is almost completely destroyed, and the surrounding area remains dangerous and heavily fortified. The journalists depict the everyday life of Ukrainian soldiers in the trenches and the intense battles for a strategically important direction of the counteroffensive.
According to the cadets, the film impresses with its profound meaning, realistic characters, and relevant themes that provoke reflection on moral choices, humanity, and responsibility. After the screening, the participants engaged in an active discussion of the plot, performances, and main ideas of the film.

Such events contribute to fostering patriotism, shaping aesthetic taste, and developing critical thinking among future law enforcement officers. The cadets expressed their gratitude to the organizers for the opportunity to attend the screening and shared their desire to continue participating in similar cultural and educational initiatives.
