Awards were presented during the meeting of the rectorate of Dnipro State University of Internal Affairs.
Participation in the Rector’s Cup in practical shooting was taken by team teams of structural units of the university, representatives of the Main Directorate of the National Police in Dnipropetrovsk and Kharkiv regions, as well as representatives of security structures.
In the team championship, representatives of Dnipro State University of Internal Affairs won, in the individual standings – among women, victory was won by cadet of the faculty of training specialists for pre-trial investigation bodies of the NPU DSUIA Ksenia Vynogradova. Second place – to the senior lecturer of the department of firearms training Olena Lopaeva. Among men, second place was taken by senior lecturer of the department of firearms training of DSUIA Lieutenant Colonel of Police Yevhen Zelenkyi.
The temporarily acting rector of DSUIA Ihor Magdalina congratulated the winners of the competition, presented them with medals and a cup. Ihor Magdalina noted that accurate shooting is one of the important skills of a police officer and wished success in sports and service activities.
