Participation in the event was taken by cadets of the 3rd year of the faculty of training specialists for criminal police units of the NPU of Dnipro State University of Internal Affairs.
During the visit, investigator of the investigative department of Police Department No. 1 of Dnipro District Police Department No. 2 of the Main Directorate of the National Police in Dnipropetrovsk Region, Lieutenant of Police Danylo Afanasiev familiarized cadets with the main tasks that are assigned to workers of the Interregional Specialized Center. The center combines in itself the work of police officers from three regions – Main Directorates of the National Police in Donetsk, Luhansk, and Dnipropetrovsk regions: in one place work investigators, criminal investigation workers, criminologists, narrowly specialized specialists in search of persons who disappeared without trace.
Cadets learned about the main directions of work of the institution, considered individual practical cases with solving tasks that arise in practical activities during the operation of martial law regime with establishing the location of persons who disappeared without trace under special circumstances.
Such classes prepare cadets for future professional activities, familiarize higher education students with professional aspects of law enforcement agencies work and contribute to the formation of practical skills of person search under complex conditions.
