Getting to know the court: a binary class for DSUIA students

Second-year students majoring in “Law” and “Law Enforcement Activity” of the Educational and Scientific Institute of Law and Innovative Education of DSUIA visited the Dnipropetrovsk District Administrative Court.

The event was organized by the Department of Administrative Law Disciplines and Public Administration, as well as the Department of Theory of State and Law of the Educational and Scientific Institute of Law and Innovative Education of the Dnipro State University of Internal Affairs.

Speakers of the event were the Head of the Court, Volodymyr Horbalinskyi, and judges Vasyl Ilkov and Olena Lunina.

The students visited the Scientific and Practical Hub “Rule of Law” of the Dnipropetrovsk District Administrative Court. They learned about the structure of the court, the organization of its work, the specifics of administrative case consideration and administrative justice under wartime conditions, as well as the process of pre-trial dispute resolution.

In addition, the students took part in an interactive game during which they acquired practical skills in dispute resolution.

As a result of the class, the students gained an understanding of the principles of openness and accessibility of justice, realized the role of administrative proceedings in protecting the rights, freedoms, and interests of citizens, which allowed them to consolidate their theoretical knowledge.
