The event was organized by the Department of Administrative and Legal Disciplines and Public Administration of the Educational and Scientific Institute of Law and Innovative Education at the Dnipro State University of Internal Affairs.

Participants of the meeting included Volodymyr Horbalinskyi, Head of the Dnipropetrovsk District Administrative Court, as well as judges Vasyl Ilkov, Olena Lunina, and Hanna Slastion.

With welcoming remarks, Volodymyr Shablystyi, Director of the Educational and Scientific Institute of Law and Innovative Education of DSUIA, addressed the attendees, emphasizing the importance of such meetings for shaping the professional worldview of future lawyers and law enforcement officers.

The workshop was attended by first- and second-year students majoring in Law Enforcement and Law.

Volodymyr Horbalinskyi noted that administrative justice is an essential component of the judiciary, designed to protect the rights, freedoms, and legitimate interests of citizens. According to the expert, under martial law, this function becomes particularly significant, since the state must act within the law even in difficult circumstances, as its main purpose is to uphold the rule of law, protect human and civil rights, and ensure the legality of government actions.

In addition, students learned about the history of the judicial robe and other symbols of judicial authority. The guests also explained to the students how the competitive selection process for judicial appointments takes place.

The meeting became a valuable discussion platform, combining the theoretical and practical aspects of the judicial profession.
