Sniper Skills: Binary Firearms Training Session at DSUIA

NEWS

Representatives of the DSUIA sniper team took part in a binary firearms training session organized by the Department of Firearms Training in cooperation with representatives of the National Guard of Ukraine.

The session was joined by Oleksandr Movchan — a former special forces serviceman and now a university employee. The expert shared invaluable combat experience in firing the UAR-10 sniper rifle and provided practical advice on improving marksmanship skills, shooting techniques under extreme conditions, and maintaining psychological resilience during combat missions.

Cooperation with the National Guard of Ukraine allowed cadets to familiarize themselves with current sniper training standards, modern training methods, and tactical approaches used in real combat operations.

Such activities, combining the experience of a veteran and active National Guard servicemen, are highly beneficial for cadets as they help develop comprehensive practical skills, enhance firearms proficiency, and foster the professional competence of future law enforcement specialists.
