The event was organized by the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine in cooperation with the All-Ukrainian Public Organization “Sports Student Union of Ukraine” and the UAV Academy “SKYFALL”.
More than 300 participants from 50 educational institutions across Ukraine took part in the competition. The cadets and lyceum students demonstrated their drone piloting skills by overcoming obstacles based on time and speed. Among the course challenges were flying through pipes, square gates, and performing sharp turns.
After the competition, representatives of the educational institution received a thematic gift — an FPV drone. The new equipment will help develop skills in unmanned technologies as part of the educational process.
The lyceum was represented by three teams: two of them reached the 1/16 finals, and one advanced to the 1/8 finals. This result will continue to motivate the students to train diligently.
The first All-Ukrainian FPV Racing League was created to promote national achievements in the field of unmanned aerial systems, develop STEM education, and boost youth sports activity in Ukraine.
