In the village of Tyvriv, Vinnytsia Region, the annual all-Ukrainian competitions in practical shooting with pistol and carbine under pistol cartridge “FORT CUP 2025” took place, which united athletes, military personnel, law enforcement officers and representatives of HEIs with specific learning conditions.
Cadets of the faculty of training specialists for pre-trial investigation bodies of the NPU of Dnipro State University of Internal Affairs Kseniia Vynogradova and Dmytro Galaiko under the mentorship of senior lecturers of the department of firearms training Lieutenant Colonel of Police Yevhen Zelenskyi and Major of Police Oleksandr Karpenko worthily represented the higher education institution, demonstrating a high level of training and mastery in handling firearms. Based on the results of the competitions, university representatives took third prize places in the individual ranking in the categories “Juniors” and “Ladies”.
Participants performed exercises using new samples of sports weapons, namely Fort 20 S pistols and new sports ammunition 9 mm Luger (9×19) with FMJ bullet, provided by the State Scientific-Production Association “Fort” of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine, which during operation showed an excellent result.
The competitions became not only a test of individual mastery and endurance, but also a platform for exchange of experience between representatives of different agencies. The achievements of DSUIA cadets once again confirmed the high level of professional training of future law enforcement officers and the importance of the university’s systematic work in developing sports skills necessary in official activities.
In addition, during the competitions, an exhibition of new weapon samples manufactured by SNPA “Fort” was held. Participants had the opportunity to test the presented weapons in action.
