The Ukrainian Free Fight Championship in the “submission fight” category has concluded in Bucha, bringing together athletes of different age groups — children, youth, juniors, and adults.
Cadets of the Dnipro State University of Internal Affairs took part in the competition, demonstrating excellent results and representing the university with dignity at the national level:
1st place in the weight category up to 57 kg — Cadet Viacheslav Chornyi (group KP-262-24-1). Based on his performance, the athlete fulfilled the standard for the title of Master of Sports of Ukraine;
3rd place in the weight category up to 69 kg — Cadet Bohdan Riabchenko (group KP-262-24-1);
3rd place in the weight category up to 79 kg — Cadet Denys Slavinskyi (group SR-262-24-1).
Free fight is one of the most dynamic and technically complex martial arts disciplines, requiring endurance, strength, speed, and strategic thinking from athletes. DSUIA cadets demonstrated not only a high level of physical preparation but also discipline, strong character, and true team spirit.
