The charitable initiative #PowerCoins is organized by the National Bank of Ukraine in cooperation with UAnimals, a public organization dedicated to rescuing animals and protecting the environment from the consequences of war and human cruelty.
The purpose of the campaign is to unite efforts and raise funds to help evacuated animals that are currently in shelters or remain in frontline regions.
The charity campaign will run until November 28, 2025, inclusive.
The collected funds will be directed toward three main areas of assistance:
• purchasing food for animals rescued from combat zones to support shelters and temporary holding facilities;
• treating injured and sick animals, including financing veterinary care, surgeries, medicines, rehabilitation, and basic vaccinations;
• improving shelter infrastructure, including the creation of new enclosures and safe spaces for evacuated animals.
Anyone willing to contribute can make a donation in the collection box located in the main building lobby of DSUIA.
DSUIA encourages everyone—students, academic staff, and employees—to join the #PowerCoins campaign to collectively support those who cannot take care of themselves.
