Representatives of Dnipro State University of Internal Affairs conducted a series of career guidance events for school students of the city of Dnipro and the region.
The meeting with students of Lyceum No. 2 of Pidhorodne City Council was conducted by teachers of the department of tactical-special training of DSUIA Dmytro Kaznacheiev and Captain of Police Hanna Turchanikova.
Senior lecturer of the department of firearms training of the faculty of training specialists for criminal police units of the NPU Dmytro Bodyriev conducted a career guidance event in online format for 11th-grade students of Lyceum No. 3 of the city of Pidhorodne, Dnipropetrovsk Region. Participation in the meeting was taken by a 3rd-year cadet of the faculty of training specialists for criminal police units of the NPU Vladyslav Reshetniak.
Teacher of the department of civil-legal disciplines Captain of Police Maryna Lohinova together with university cadets told senior students of Dnipro Lyceum No. 54 about the features of studying, specialties, and employment prospects, etc.
In addition, senior lecturer of the department of administrative law and process Mykola Repan together with inspectors of the “Educational Safety Service” department of the Patrol Police Department in Dnipropetrovsk Region of the Patrol Police Department Captain of Police Yuliia Chorna, Lieutenant of Police Tetiana Ihnatova, and Sergeant of Police Lesia Savchenko met with students of Dnipro Lyceum No. 31 “Priority” and Dnipro Gymnasium No. 106 of Dnipro City Council.
Children were familiarized with types of domestic violence, clarification of the reasons for violent behavior and determination of ways to eliminate them, familiarization of students with the legislative base on issues of countering domestic violence, as well as told about DSUIA and Dnipro Lyceum of security direction and national-patriotic education of the Ministry of Internal Affairs named after O. Hostishchev.
During the events, key issues of admission to the university were discussed, features of the physical abilities competition, specialties, training directions, and the material-technical base were presented.
Such meetings provide an opportunity to form an idea about Dnipro State University of Internal Affairs.
