Training for employees of the MSC of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, institutions, establishments and enterprises belonging to the sphere of management of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Dnipropetrovsk, Zaporizhzhia, Poltava, Sumy, Kharkiv regions took place with the support of the Corruption Prevention Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine.
With a welcoming speech spoke the acting rector of DSUIA Ihor Mahdalyna, participants and guests were also greeted by the head of the Corruption Prevention Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Anatolii Fodchuk.


Speakers at the event were the coordinator of the NATO integrity building program Maryna Kohut, director of the Ukrainian Center for Professional Certification Anna Fedorenko, Head of the Dnipro Branch of the Ukrainian Bar Association, lawyer, specialist in electronic declaration issues Kyrylo Sydorenko, specialist in anti-corruption compliance, lawyer, advocate Maryna Sichkar, representatives of the Dnipropetrovsk Department of the Internal Security Department of the National Police of Ukraine Oleksandr Yevstratenko and the strategic investigations department in Zaporizhzhia region of the Strategic Investigations Department of the National Police of Ukraine Dmytro Chernov, scholars of DSUIA – professor Roman Myronyuk, candidate of legal sciences, associate professor Serhii Babanin and the anti-corruption officer of DSUIA Ruslan Lupyr.


Participants of the event familiarized themselves with key principles, goals of the NATO Integrity Building Program in the security and defense sector, learned how to conduct an assessment of the implementation of the anti-corruption program, clarified what corruption risks arise in procurement procedures and what is a full verification of declarations, considered issues of criminal and administrative responsibility for violations of anti-corruption legislation.

Practical aspects of implementing state policy on countering corruption and requirements of the Ministry of Internal Affairs regarding internal control measures were shared by employees of internal security and strategic investigations of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine.
