Introductory meeting between representatives of DSUIA and the Institute for Advanced Studies of the Ministry of the Interior of France

The event was held online with the support of the Embassy of the French Republic in Ukraine. Its purpose was to present the universities, discuss opportunities for cooperation, and identify promising areas for joint research.

The meeting was attended by the Vice-Rector of DSUIA, Honored Scientist of Ukraine, Police Colonel Oleksandr Yunin; Head of the Department for the Organization of Scientific Activities Denys Proshyn; Head of the International Cooperation Department Tetiana Chumachenko; Director of the Educational and Research Institute of Law and Innovative Education Volodymyr Shablystyi; Head of the Research Laboratory of Preventive Activities and Sociological Studies Police Major Iryna Drok; Head of the Department of Criminal Procedure Police Lieutenant Colonel Dmytro Sanakoiev; and Acting Head of the Department of Criminal Law Disciplines Taisiia Shevchenko.

From the Embassy of the French Republic in Ukraine, the meeting was attended by Gendarmerie Colonel Jean-Marc Chambon, Law Enforcement and Internal Security Attaché of the Embassy of France in Ukraine. The Institute for Advanced Studies of the French Ministry of the Interior was represented by the Head of Delegation, Director of Communication and International Cooperation Alexandra Laille, and Project Manager of the International Cooperation Department Clara Luchignano.

Oleksandr Yunin presented the university, focusing on its scientific activities. He emphasized that Dnipro State University of Internal Affairs is always open to cooperation and aims to be a reliable partner, ready to share its academic and scientific potential for the development of international collaboration.

In turn, the participating researchers presented their own studies to the French partners.

Following the meeting, the parties reached a mutual understanding regarding the further development of partnership relations and expressed their willingness to organize a series of working meetings to specify areas of cooperation.
