Participants of the annual contest became employees and students of Dnipro State University of Internal Affairs.
The purpose of the event is increasing the level of professional mastery and combat readiness of the personnel, development of endurance, determination and ability to act in extreme conditions.
The contest consisted of several blocks, including an intellectual complex, performance of shooting exercises and participation in a complex police relay. Participants demonstrated skills of equipping, competed in running exercises, carried out detention of an offender and putting on handcuffs, as well as applied a tourniquet.
According to the results of the contest, the prize-winners among the permanent staff became:
• senior lecturer of the department of criminal procedure and strategic investigations, captain of police Oleksandr Neklesa (1 place);
• senior lecturer of the department of firearms training, police lieutenant colonel Yevhen Zelenskyi (2 place);
• educator of the lyceum, senior lieutenant of police Serhii Diadkin (3 place).
Among the variable staff, the places were distributed as follows:
• corporal of police Ivan Minailov, study group DR-242 (1 place);
• corporal of police Bohdan Rybak, study group KP-334 (2 place);
• private of police Bohdan Riabchenko, study group KP-262-24-1 (3 place).
Such competitions strengthen discipline, motivation for self-improvement and emphasize the importance of continuous development for effective performance of official tasks.
