Events are held by employees of the Criminal Analysis Departments of the Main Directorates of the National Police in Dnipropetrovsk, Donetsk, Zaporizhzhia and Luhansk regions for cadets of the 2nd year of the faculty of training specialists for criminal police units of the NPU.
The class on the topic “Use of cartographic services by criminal analysis units in analytical work” was held by the deputy head of the department of the Criminal Analysis Department of the Main Directorate of the National Police in Luhansk region major of police Dmytro Churbakov.
Cadets familiarized themselves with the main cartographic services that are in free access and are used by employees of criminal analysis units to obtain information regarding events that took place in one or another locality, determination of the place of the event, establishment of exact geographical coordinates etc.
Also cadets had the opportunity to obtain information regarding the possibilities of activities of the Criminal Analysis Department of the Main Directorate of the National Police in Luhansk region, familiarize themselves with practical cases regarding the establishment of the place of possible location of missing persons and detection and identification of persons who carried out collaborationist activities and provided assistance to the armed forces of the russian federation in the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine.
Conducting classes in such a format helps cadets to obtain not only theoretical knowledge but also forms the necessary skills for effective work in the field of criminal analysis.
